The values of sport as a “place of democracy” are ideals toward which we should strive in everyday life as well — from school to work, from leisure to politics.

Sport possesses a dynamic and relational structure: it is a field in which one can step outside habitual roles and express one’s identity, including its most emotional dimensions.

A team inevitably confronts themes such as sharing, respect for differences, collective and individual responsibility, and loyalty.

FUORIGIOCO is a fragment of everyday life dressed in humour, exposing the typical dynamics of a “team” while revealing its limits, flaws and undeniable virtues. At its core lies the truth that unity is strength — the very principle that ensures the effectiveness of any human collective.

And yet this truth is rarely applied within the mechanisms governing contemporary society, increasingly marked by exhausting solitude rather than cohesion and collective organization.

The protagonists of this creation are timeless and eccentric figures: suspended, disordered and fragile, searching for a balance that, unbeknownst to them, might actually be within reach.

A balance that always remains unstable and fleeting, pushing them to imagine, seek out and reorganize ever-new forms of coexistence in order to deceive or confront the forces of disintegration — and perhaps succeed in winning.
