ZEROGRAMMI + BPART + ICELAND RED CROSS
BPART!
Be Part! is a two-year international project involving Iceland, the Czech Republic, Mexico, Italy, Canada and the United States. It uses artistic processes as a tool to support the development of civil society, foster a sense of belonging, and increase the visibility of marginalised groups.
The core of Be Part! is a bilateral collaboration between artists and organisations from the Czech Republic and Iceland, with professional artists from another country invited to join each stage of the cycle: Brno – Foco alAire (Mexico); Reykjavík – Zerogrammi (Italy); Prague – Michèle Steinwald & 44 Arte Produttiva (United States/Canada).
In 2023, Be Part! collaborates with Zerogrammi and its choreographic project Elegy of Lost Things to work with the community of refugees and asylum seekers in Iceland.
