Nonostante le macerie (Despite the Rubble) is a site-specific choreographic project that reshapes itself in response to every place it encounters. The choreography emerges from the interplay between a precise compositional framework and the unique qualities, forces, and frictions of each site.

The performers allow themselves to be traversed by the existential, ethical, and social "rubble" of the present, embodying a continuous state of oscillation. This oscillation becomes a metaphor for the search for balance within conditions of instability and uncertainty.

The work opposes the consumer-driven speed of contemporary life with a practice grounded in presence, listening, and relationship. In its vulnerability and permeability, the physical body becomes the catalyst for a political body, capable of reactivating places and collective imaginaries.
