With LUOGHI COMUNI from September to December 2026 Casa Luft opens up to the city again

From September to December 2026, LUOGHI COMUNI returns, the program with which Casa Luft opens to the public the processes, meetings, and practices that pass through its spaces every day.

Performances, previews, residencies, creative workshops, open rehearsals, and training events make up a calendar designed for a variety of audiences : from training sessions for entertainment professionals to events open to all, right up to shows dedicated to children and families.

A program that presents Casa Luft as a traversable space : a space in which artistic research is not separated from the life around it, but becomes an opportunity for encounter, discussion, and sharing.

This is the idea behind LUOGHI COMUNI : to make the activities that inhabit Casa Luft a tool for opening up to the local community, sharing the paths undertaken and their results, and, at the same time, generating new questions. Artists, spectators, participants, children, families, and temporary communities come together around the processes of creation, contributing to the construction of a fluid, shared, and continually redefined cultural space.

THE PROGRAM

SHOWS AND PUBLIC OPENINGS

The program features both completed works and moments of openness to creative processes, alternating events dedicated to contemporary dance with proposals also designed for children and families .

On October 2nd, TWAIN Physical Dance Theatre will perform AltreDirezioni . On October 16th, Amina Amici will present a preview of Andavamo tutti . On October 29th, Stefano Mazzotta and Chiara Guglielmi will present Zerogrammi 25° , a new production dedicated to the company's twenty-fifth anniversary and designed for children and families, with two performances, one in the morning and one in the evening .

On November 10, Terrammare Teatro presents Lost among the Stars , freely inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's The Little Prince ; the show will be repeated on November 11 as a children's matinee . On November 20, Edoardo Sgambato and Priscilla Pizziol present an open rehearsal of Greetings from the Void , while on November 26, the masterclass led by Marta Bevilacqua concludes with a public performance of the work.

On December 4th Luoghi Comuni will finally bring together three works in an evening dedicated to dance: Chiaroscuro by Amina Amici, Momento by Stefano Mazzotta and La passeggiata by Laura Corradi / Ersilia Danza .

RESIDENCES AND CREATION WORKSHOPS

Luoghi Comuni is also a space dedicated to research and creation. In September, Carlo Massari / C&C Company will be in residence with Woyzeck from September 7th to 11th, followed by Francesco Romagnoli and Bianca Mangelli, who will be developing LaFineCheCammina as part of Permutazioni from September 21st to 24th.

In October, Amina Amici will be visiting CASA LUFT with the Andavamo tutti creation studio from October 6 to 17, while Stefano Mazzotta and Chiara Guglielmi will be working on the new installation dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Zerogrammi from October 19 to 29.

Francesco Romagnoli and Bianca Mangelli return in November with a new phase of their LaFineCheCammina residency from November 9th to 13th; from November 16th to 21st, it's the turn of Edoardo Sgambato and Priscilla Pizziol with the Greetings from the Void creation studio.

PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

The training accompanies the programming through Inventario // Temporary Training , creating opportunities for transmission directly connected to the practices of the artists present at CASA LUFT.

On September 9th, the work will be led by Carlo Massari / C&C Company; from October 6th to 8th, it will be Amina Amici's turn; from October 20th to 22nd, the series will continue with Stefano Mazzotta; and from November 17th to 19th, with Collettivo Macula.

From November 23rd to 26th, Marta Bevilacqua / Compagnia Arearea will lead an intensive masterclass, which will conclude on November 26th with a public presentation of the work completed.

Three months to immerse yourself in the work as it happens. To meet the artists during their research, experience the processes before they become works, participate in the practices, and find each other again when what was born inside Casa Luft chooses to open up to the public.

Because Casa Luft is a common place: an open space where people meet and share experiences and ideas, multiply questions and perspectives, and jointly explore the meaning of theatrical space as a platform for individual and collective growth.
