INTERCONNESSIONI

The Interconnessioni residency project is based on the reappropriation of emblematic sites, with the aim of reassessing the richness of cultural heritage in its broadest sense. It addresses both tangible aspects—such as archaeological, industrial, or natural sites—and more intangible dimensions, including craftsmanship, traditions, and the knowledge and practices rooted in the chosen territory.

By taking into account the specific characteristics that define each place, the Interconnessioni artistic residency legitimises a research process focused on multidisciplinary languages immersed in the distinctive identity of Sardinia. The project is grounded in site-specific experimentation and in the concept of circumscribed body–space interactions, conceived as tools to reactivate the memory and identity of each site, while simultaneously reinterpreting and narrating it through contemporary artistic languages.
