Permutazioni is a project supporting choreographic creation, active since 2013 in Turin at CASA LUFT. It is promoted and implemented by Zerogrammi, in collaboration with a network of national and international organizations engaged, in various capacities, in the field of choreographic languages.

The project is conceived as a living and dynamic network that fosters dialogue among artists involved in choreographic research, offering a welcoming space to develop their creative ideas. It is a place dedicated to research, refinement, and production, with the goal of building a concrete model of support for contemporary creation—encouraging the exchange of experiences, skills, and best practices.

CASA LUFT is a creative home envisioned as a space of cohabitation between different and complementary poetics and experiences. Thanks to the presence of artists from various generations and aesthetic backgrounds, CASA LUFT fosters dialogue and comparison, promoting virtuous and alternative approaches to the use of space and resources. It does so from the perspective of a network grounded in the sharing of knowledge, skills, and professional expertise.

At the heart of Permutazioni’s philosophy is barter, understood as an open and generous exchange of human resources, tools, skills, and services. This practice encourages encounter, sharing, and gifting—beyond immediate self-interest—promoting a culture of collective action based on listening and openness to others.

Zerogrammi, the organization behind the project, is a dance production company supported by the Italian Ministry of Culture, with its primary activity focused on live performance production. Permutazioni, created with the specific intent to share and network its own resources, has served since 2013 as a scouting tool through which the company supports new choreographic creation—offering its know-how to help develop original projects.

The initiative aligns with Zerogrammi’s broader production vision, aiming to contribute to the growth of the contemporary choreographic landscape by offering concrete support to emerging practices and evolving artistic voices.
