ORME
+ synopsis
Seven dancers take part in a new online expressive dance workshop, a playful way to introduce qualities of movement and choreography starting from gestures and characters drawn from the animal world.
Conceived by Giovanna Milano, Orme – Wild and Domestic Dances is an online educational project for children aged 4 to 7, supported by Sosta Palmizi, Zerogrammi, Kado, and Fabbrica C. The project unfolds as an episodic journey composed of video chapters in which animals are the protagonists—interpreted and narrated through the body, gestures, sounds, music, and words of seven different dancers:
Amina Amici, Piergiorgio Milano, Teresa Noronha Feio, Aldo Rendina, Federica Tardito, Cecilia Ventriglia, and Simone Zambelli.
Through play and imagination, the project invites young participants to explore movement, expression, and creativity, transforming animal qualities into tools for dance and storytelling.
