DANZA IN NATURA (Dance in Nature – Dialogues Between Body and Landscape) is a summer programme born from the desire to bring the moving body into dialogue with the beauty of the surrounding landscape. Developed through the collaboration between Zerogrammi, Associazione Mulino del Travo, and Azienda Agricola Silvia Bonfiglio, the project unfolds as a sensory and expressive journey through the municipality of Carro (Liguria, Italy), inviting participants to experience the natural environment in a poetic, mindful, and participatory way.
At the heart of the programme lies the harmonious meeting of gentle hiking and artistic practice, offering an experience that unfolds through three interconnected moments. Each journey begins with a walk through the landscape, allowing participants to slow down, deepen their awareness, and attune their breathing to the rhythms of the surrounding environment. The walk then leads to a unique destination where the open landscape becomes a natural stage for a site-specific choreographic intervention, in which dance encounters light, trees, earth, and the sounds of the forest. The experience concludes with a shared moment of conviviality, creating space for exchange and reflection.
The programme takes audiences to some of the most evocative places in the territory of Carro, moving between the historic Mulino del Travo and the ancient Bosco dei Sepponi. In doing so, it weaves a lasting connection between the ephemeral nature of human movement and the enduring memory of the landscape.

Welcome to DANZA IN NATURA, a small festival of contemporary dance and site-specific performances set in the heart of nature. To help you make the most of this unique experience, where movement meets landscape, here is everything you need to know before joining us.
📍 When & Where
Dates: 9, 16, 23 and 30 August 2026
Locations: Events take place between the historic Mulino del Travo and the ancient Bosco dei Sepponi in Carro (La Spezia, Italy).
Meeting time: Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start to allow time for check-in and the short walk to the performance site.
🎒 What to Bring & What to Wear
All performances take place outdoors in natural environments.
We recommend bringing and wearing:

Comfortable, layered clothing suitable for woodland and hillside settings

Trainers or hiking shoes with good grip

A reusable water bottle (let's reduce plastic waste together!)

A blanket or cushion to sit comfortably on the grass or ground during the performance

If weather conditions make outdoor performances impossible, the event will be moved to an indoor venue. Any changes will be promptly communicated via our social media channels and by email or SMS to all ticket holders.
