To immerse oneself in listening to a musical composition in order to draw choreographic inspiration from it. To observe rhythmic, timbral and formal differences and connections. To attempt to understand what musical writing and choreographic composition have to say to one another from the perspective of form and the economy of signs.

What do they evoke?

To attempt to discover — or imagine — a neutral territory where music and choreography move away from formal abstraction in order to embrace a more direct and emotional form of expressiveness.
