AN EDITORIAL PROJECT
IN CORSO

ZEROGRAMMI

SASSOLINI

  • Sassolini is a tiny editorial project by Zerogrammi, launched in 2026 to mark the company’s twenty-fifth anniversary as a way of collecting and sharing thoughts, images and perspectives encountered along the way.

Each issue originates from a different person, from an encounter with a different and transversal thought that develops and takes shape around a single word.

A word as a starting point, a pretext or a detour: something to look at closely, explore freely and call into question. What is asked for is neither a definition nor an answer, but a personal reflection capable of opening up associations, questions and possibilities.

Each text is accompanied by an image, chosen as another form of thought: not necessarily an illustration of what is written, but a presence capable of entering into dialogue with the words, contradicting them, extending them or shifting their meaning.

Issue by issue, Sassolini thus builds a small collection of perspectives. Different, independent voices, connected only by the same gesture: choosing something apparently small and giving it our attention.

The project was born in Zerogrammi’s twenty-fifth year without any intention of recounting its history in a celebratory or chronological way. Instead, it chooses to look at these twenty-five years through what has made them possible: the encounters, the people, the questions, the detours and the different ways of looking at the world that have shaped the company’s work.

Like pebbles picked up along a path, each issue is a small, self-contained and deliberately open-ended object. It can be read, observed, kept, given away or left behind. Together, the issues gradually form a trail: not the story of a path already travelled, but a constellation of thoughts from which to continue moving forward.

Sassolini exists exclusively on paper. There is no digital edition, and its contents are not published online. This is a deliberate choice: to give words and images a physical presence, a time and a place in which to be encountered. Each issue is conceived as a small object to hold in one’s hands, read, observe, keep, give away or leave behind. It circulates through people and places, not through a screen.
