For the 2020 edition of UNESCO’s International Dance Day, Lavanderia a Vapore, together with the Piedmont-based companies supported by the Italian Ministry of Culture—Zerogrammi, EgriBiancoDanza, and Balletto Teatro di Torino—brought together over 300 participants from cultural associations and dance schools for a large-scale community event.

Inspired by a format conceived by director Alain Platel, The Rite of Spring was reimagined as a collective flash mob, set to the iconic score by Igor Stravinsky, transforming a landmark of musical modernity into a shared, participatory experience.
