CANTIERI

Cantieri is an advanced training programme for performing arts professionals, conceived by Cuochilab / Play with Food and Casa Fools. Created to support the artistic and professional development of artists, performers and cultural workers, the project offers free opportunities for learning, exchange and experimentation through masterclasses, workshops and meetings with leading figures from the national and international performing arts scene.

Within the programme, Zerogrammi curates an annual event dedicated to contemporary dance, developed in dialogue with *Inventario*, its professional development programme. In recent years, the initiative has welcomed internationally renowned artists such as Rita Petrone (2024) and Carolyn Carlson (2025), offering participants the opportunity to engage with different artistic practices, movement poetics and methods of knowledge transmission.

More than a training programme, Cantieri is a space for encounter among artists, organisers, curators and cultural professionals: an ongoing laboratory where skills, experiences and ideas are shared, networks are built and new perspectives for contemporary performing arts can emerge.
