A woman sits motionless. Her faint gestures trace a path marking out an universe suspended between reality and dream, unfolding a narrative that delves into the memory of fairy tales and evokes symbols and images in which light and darkness play leading roles. Her story is a noir coming-of-age tale devoted to doubt and uncertainty, in which the essential quality of gesture and a few pastel colours prevail, and where everything expresses precariousness: weight, balance, risk, dualistic conflict, and the inevitable longing for an unattainable, unified harmony.

As in every coming-of-age fairy tale, the narrative returns again and again to the dynamics generated by questioning and by the desire for balance when faced with an obstacle, a trial to overcome, a safe place and an order to be achieved. Abandoning the presumed certainty of a centre, the story launches itself into the precariousness of movement, searching for a temporary refuge and a plausible order. It ultimately returns us to the only possible certainty: that nothing ever remains the same, and that questioning is the only path towards growth, change and discovery.
